Authoring Learning Activities

Authoring Learning Activities is a major feature of the COSMOS work-flow, but it is a complex task which requires certain experience. There are two ways to package Learning Activities:

  • Using COSMOS ASK Learning Activities Authoring Tool
  • Using interactive pdfs

    • The first recommended approach packages all the necessary resources in a single zip file. Learning Activities in this format can be viewed with the Reload Learning Activity Viewer (available in the COSMOS Tool-Box).

    The second approach employs LaTeX and a number of its extensions in order to compile a Learning Activity into a single interactive pdf file. This approach is more complicated and it is recommended for advanced users. Learning Activities packaged in interactive pdfs can be viewed with Acrobat Reader (available here).
